By having you and your team frequently go through this exercise, you’ll start to troubleshoot things that could happen and have an action plan if they do happen.

The more you can anticipate problems. the less time you spend on them. Some of the most powerful words can be, “What if,” in an organization. What if that online software you depend on goes down suddenly? How will you get your work done?
What if let’s say, Bob, who does a really important job in your organization, let’s say he has to leave town for a few days for a family emergency. How does Bob’s work get done?
The idea is you troubleshoot all the problems that could happen. So if they ever do, you’re prepared. It gives you a sense of confidence. You thought things through it saves time.
The worst day is the see an organization suddenly become paralyzed by the loss of something: Equipment, someone has to leave town suddenly, or leave permanently, unexpectedly. You don’t your organization to be hurt by these things.
They’re gonna happen but you can prepare for them. Get your team together and say, “What if?”
