I’ve used myBrainshark for about three years and have found it to be a very valuable tool.

At it’s most basic, the free platform allows you to upload Powerpoint presentations and then add audio to them. People can then watch your presentations, just like any other video, 24/7, from anywhere in the world. Over time users have also had the ability to add video clips, music (from the free myBrainshark library), polls, questions, and downloadable documents.

MyBrainshark is the home for several of my online, paid presentations. Potential buyers are able to preview a presentation though the third slide and then decide whether they want to buy it. At any time, I can change the price.

It’s great that myBrainshark allows me to focus on creating content and then lets me easily distribute it to the world. I’m not having to wrestle with creating shopping carts or other content delivery tools.

MyBrainshark has evolved quite a bit. It also has a podcast option and I take advantage of that to use myBrainshark as an additional distribution platform for The 2 Minute Takeaway Podcast.

Another upgrade that I’ve taken advantage of is the ability to have an all video myBrainshark presentation. I’ve found this to be a valuable distribution tool in addition to YouTube and in some cases, myBrainshark has provided me with more views that YouTube.

Through all these tools, I’ve been able to increase my visibility, further promote my expertise, and make some money. I also get viewer statistics, which are very valuable.

The company is committed to improving itself. Upgrades make sense and are clearly explained to content creators. Sharing options have expanded to include things like embed and QR codes. myBrainshark also periodically offers training presentations that are packed with actionable information.

Bottom line: If you can think it, you can create it. Try myBrainshark and I’m sure you’ll find it to be the Easy, Free Way to Make Online Video.
