I had a great time giving the opening presentation at the Florida Biz Bash Expo. A big thank you to all who were in the audience as well as those who are hearing me for the first time (hello!) on the audio recording.
Researchers have found that audiences tend to forget most of the details of a talk within 24 hours. So I want to help you remember the concepts and or learn them for the first time. This post will be up for a while so you can digest it in bite sized chunks if you like.
To start off with here is the audio of the presentation of Clear the Path:
During the 35 minute talk, I referenced several concepts designed to help you Clear the Path of the some of the challenges that block your path to success. Here are some additional resources on that material:
- The Gift of Listening: Find out how this often neglected skill can boost your bottom line.
- A Complaint Avalanche refers to when you become overwhelmed by distractions.
- We talked about a couple issues of Customer Service. The first is about a phrase I call, Facebooking Your Customers. The other is called, Stop Treating Your Customers Like Gym Members.
- One of the biggest changes we face is Accepting Feedback.
- How you market your business can be inspired by a restaurant’s Daily Special.
- On my Video Page, you’ll find some clips of me in action, including the Police Dog Attack Story.
